Ash Grove’s Durkee Plant, Oregon’s only cement plant and one of the longest-standing operations in the region, today celebrated the completion of its new finish mill during a ribbon-cutting event attended by state and local government officials, customers and employees. The investment represents a significant enhancement to the company’s production capabilities, strengthening Ash Grove’s position as a leader in the industry.

A 2.5-mile stretch of roadway in Nebraska is now serving as the first real-world demonstration of Duracem® N — a  calcined clay blended cement manufactured at Ash Grove’s Louisville Plant. The Nebraska Department of Transportation (DOT), known for its long history of innovation in pavement materials, selected Duracem® N to support the state’s commitment to durable, high-performing roadways built to withstand decades of use.

Carbon Upcycling Technologies ("Carbon Upcycling"), a leader in carbon and resource utilization, and Ash Grove, a CRH Company and one of North America's leading cement manufacturers, broke ground this week on Carbon 1 Mississauga - a Canadian first-of-its-kind commercial carbon capture and utilization facility at Ash Grove's cement plant in Mississauga, Ontario.
